Twins recall left-handed pitcher Brandon Waddell

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled left-handed pitcher Brandon Waddell from Triple-A St. Paul.

To make room on the 26-man roster, the Twins have optioned to right-handed pitcher Randy Dobnak to Triple-A St. Paul.

Waddell, 26, appeared in two games for the Twins in April, pitching 3.0 scoreless innings of relief with five hits allowed and two walks.

Dobnak pitched seven games in relief for the Twins, going 0-3 with an 8.16 ERA (14.1 IP, 13 ER), four home runs allowed, three walks and 11 strikeouts.
