Roethlisberger, Heath, Speed named AFC Players of Week 10

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers, safety Jeff Heath of the Las Vegas Raiders and linebacker E.J. Speed of the Indianapolis Colts are the AFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for games played in Week 10 (November 12, 15-16).

Roethlisberger completed 27-of-46 passes (58.7 percent) for 333 yards, adding four touchdowns with no interceptions and a rating of 110.1 in the Steelers’ 36-10 win over the Bengals at Heinz Field.

Heath recorded one tackle, two interceptions and two passes defensed in the Raiders’ victory over the Broncos.

Speed completed a huge blocked punt in Indy’s crucial road divisional victory over the Titans on Thursday Night Football. Cornerback T.J. Carrie picked up the ball at the 6-yard line and jogged it in from for a special teams touchdown. The play for Speed and Carrie represented the Colts’ first regular season blocked punt returned for a touchdown since Week 13 of the 2010 season.
