Report: Riley Herbst to move to SHR Xfinity Series Program

Riley Herbst will move to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2021 to compete in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, according to a report by Frontstretch.com.

Herbst, according to Frontstretch, will race the No. 98 Ford as Chase Briscoe moves to the NASCAR Cup Series. The No. 98 team won nine races in the Xfinity Series this season with Briscoe behind the wheel.

Herbst posted four top-five and 17 top-10 finishes in 33 races in his rookie season with Joe Gibbs Racing in 2020. Daniel Hemric was announced as his replacement for the No. 18 Supra on Thursday.
