Report: Rangers extend qualifying offer to Anthony DeAngelo

The New York Rangers have extended a qualifying offer to defenseman Anthony DeAngelo, according to Colby Cohen.

DeAngelo and the Rangers would have to agree to a deal around three years and $5 million a year to avoid heading to arbitration, Cohen noted.

DeAngelo recorded 15 goals and 38 assists (53 points) with a +12 rating in 68 games last season. He has posted 24 goals and 81 assists (105 points) in 200 career NHL games.
