Alberta reported 172 new COVID-19 cases and 167 recoveries on Wednesday, bringing the province’s totals to 16,128 cases, 254 deaths and 14,379 recoveries.
Nationally, there are 139,454 confirmed cases across Canada, and there are 29,190,588 confirmed cases worldwide.
303 new COVID-19 cases, along with three deaths, were diagnosed in Quebec, marking the first time the province has surpassed 300 cases since May 30.
Saskatchewan reported 10 new COVID-19 cases, the same number as yesterday and in line with the province’s 5-day average.
