Drew Gulak is back with WWE after agreeing to sign a new contract, according to Fightful.
It was reported on May 16 that Gulak had left WWE after his contract had expired. Gulak reportedly asked for a raise and the two sides could not agree on terms, leading to Gulak not re-signing at the time.
Gulak is expected back on Friday Night Smackdown starting this week.
Backlash match confirmed
WWE has officially confirmed a championship match for its upcoming “Backlash” pay-per-view on June 14.
Asuka will defend her RAW Women’s Championship against ia Jax.
Riddle call up expected
PWInsider.com reported early Tuesday that NXT star Matt Riddle is expected to soon be called up by WWE to its main roster.
Riddle’s call-up should happen soon, and will be specifically for Friday Night SmackDown.
