Source: Panthers sign XFL standout P.J. Walker

XFL Wildcats Roughnecks FootballThe Carolina Panthers are signing XFL standout quarterback P.J. Walker, according to ESPN’s Dianna Russini.

In the 2020 XFL season, Walker completed 119 of 184 passes (65%), with 1,338 yards, 15 passing TD, and only 4 INT in five games before the season was cancelled due to coronavirus concerns.

Walker, who was coached by current Panthers head coach Matt Rhule at Temple University, had drawn interest from the Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals as well, Russini reported.

In four years at Temple, Walker completed 830 of 1458 passes for 10668 yards, 74 touchdowns and 44 interceptions.
