The Cleveland Browns on Wednesday signed WR Braxton Miller. In a corresponding move, the team waived TE Mik’Quan Deane (non-football illness).
Miller is in his third NFL season out of Ohio State. Originally a third-round pick by Houston in 2016, Miller has appeared in 21 games with nine starts. He has 34 career receptions for 261 yards and two touchdowns. He is a native of Springfield, Ohio.
Miller was waived the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday to make room for them to sign QB Josh McCown.
